Thanks to its unique location where tropical waters from the north and temperate waters of the south collide, The Cape Byron Marine Park is home to a diverse range of sea creatures. Among the regulars that are seen all year around are 3 different turtle species, wobbegong sharks, eagle rays, cuttlefish and clown fish. Local dive companies visit Julian Rocks daily, allowing you to get up close with nature.

Byron Bay’s beautiful hinterland offers a number of hidden delights to explore - from spectacular waterfalls and national parks through to peaceful rural towns and farms. Take a day trip to Federal or Nimbin and get in touch with your alternative side.
